Current Events
The Financials Essentials class will not meet this afternoon due to Mother’s day, but will resume next week, the 15th, at 5:30 in the prayer center. This is a great opportunity to get in control of your finances instead of having them control you. I would encourage all of us to not miss out on this class. If you missed the first one, you can catch up as we recorded it and you can get with us to watch the first one.
Please remember to pray for Daniel Garrett. Because of his severe reaction to chemo, they can't give any more. And pray for Anna too. Also, continue to pray for Donna Chapman as she is in rehab, but should be home next week.
Pastor's Corner
The word tells us to walk diligently, to be wise, and to “redeem” the time because the days are evil. And then, to understand what the will of the Lord is. (Eph 5:16-17)
We can certainly relate to the evil days part, but how do we redeem our time. Redeem means to rescue from loss, improve opportunity, and to recover from the power of another. We are redeemed by the blood of the lamb and it’s The Lords’ will that we take every opportunity to make our times count and be productive for the Kingdom.
Enjoy the good things God has given us and know that our times are in His hands. (Psalm 31:15)
